Lush Snow Showers Shower Jelly review

I don’t usually review Christmas products however I have one that deserves to be mentioned after really livening up my winter showers. Lush describe Snow Showers as a “luxuriously refreshing, milky-white, snowy shower jelly”. You can chill before using, or even freeze it- it is pretty versatile. As it isn’t available all year round, many fans stock up and store it in the freezer!

This vegan jelly smells good enough to eat. The texture is just like jelly and it is very tempting to poke it all day. It is a milky white colour and the scent is like a mixture of limes and cognac. In fact my nose didn’t detect the orange at all; it was only after reading the ingredients that I discovered it contained sweet orange oil.

Product in action

After some experimenting I discovered the best way to use the jelly is to break off a chunk and smoosh it into a shower puff. If you use your hand to make sure the jelly is completely broken and squashed into the puff then you will be rewarded with a really luxurious lather. This method means you get at least twenty showers from one tub.
After the first shower my skin was left feeling smooth and the smell was amazing. The whole bathroom smelt gorgeous hours after I had my shower and I was pleased that the smell lasts well on skin too. The scent is my number one reason for using this jelly- it is not too sweet, and I love the citrus bite it has.
The jelly can be frozen and then can be used as a big chunk, making it even easier to use in the shower.

Value for money

Snow Showers costs £2.95 for 100g. Now compared to a bath ballistic or bubble bar it is amazingly good value. You can get several showers from the tub, and it is so much fun to use chilled when the weather is warmer. In fact I think I may be stashing a few in my fridge for the summer…
